VueScan for Windows

Works just great for me. First installed on windows 7, then through so-called "upgrade" to Windows 10 and still worked great. When I had a problem it was immediately resolved. Now I'm using it with a Linux system (and didn't have to pay again!)

Software saves me loads of time, and gives great results with Nikon scanner. I was able to make my new Macbook Pro work with my 12 year old Nikon scanner. In the time it took the Nikon software to make a preview on the old computer, I can have a full res scan. This software is fast, and efficient with lots of nice features like profiles for various types of color negative films I used in the 1990s. I also scanned in some Kodachromes from the 1940s, and they look like look great!

Great software that works and does what it's meant to do.. Works like char from the first beginning. Lots of possibilities, but works right away with default settings. Thanks!

Mr Ed done great job for our company . Am sorry to tell but i totally disagreed with Mr. whoever it is above my comment , cos we purchased for our company in Moscow and Riga and Nicosia and all I can tell it is EXCELLENT work and perfectly done . Lack of communications , cos once we had some kind of issue and we found Mr Ed and contact him , after couple of minutes talking with Mr Ed , we sort out all till we been online .. Try talking more politely and will be better . Cheers

Close ... but not what I'd use.. I absolutely hate programs that install whereever they want! I want ALL my programs in C:Program Files. If a program installs elsewhere without asking me, I immediately uninstall it. This is the case with VueScan. It installs in C:VueScan. So I uninstalled it. End of story.With today's big hard drives, it is critical to keep everything sorted and filed properly -- or you end up with very unorganized file systems. It is NOT too much to ask that I be able to put a program where I want it.
